Diluted GAAP EPS was USD 0.43, including USD 0.05 per share of stockbased compensation expense, USD 0.05 per share of restructuring costs, and a USD 0.05 per share benefit due to a change in tax rate. For 2008, revenue was USD 1.84 billion, up 19 percent from 2007. DuPont Reports Solid Third Quarter Results Wilmington, Del. – DuPont released its Q3 FY 08 results, reporting that electronic and communication technologies sales grew 13 percent to USD 1.1 billion, with strength in fluoropolymers and microcircuit materials for photovoltaic applications partially offset by weakness in automotive and consumer electronics. Q3 FY 08 earnings per share were USD 0.40, including a hurricane-related charge of USD 0.16 per share. Excluding significant items, earnings were USD 0.56 per share compared to USD 0.59 per share in Q3 FY 07. In addition, sales were up 9 percent to USD 7.3 billion, reflecting 9 percent higher local selling prices, a 4 percent currency benefit, and 4 percent lower volume.
