It was formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America). CONNECT08 Connect “08” kicked off on April 13th, and ran through the 15th, to bring a unified voice to professionals invested in the electronics systems industry. The exclusive industry event was held at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The committees, workshops and roundtables served to motivate contribution efforts to a complete cycle of methodology – Strategy, Plan, Educate, Implement, and Certify to Set Industry Standards. They were interactive collaborations between leaders of education, military, community, media, government agencies, associations, shop owners, executive management and subject matter experts. Connect “08” was just one more successful way ETA is showing its determination to “Lead with Support!” MAY/JUNE2008 | etainternational.org | 21 http://www.bnpevents.com/ETA http://www.bnpevents.com/ETA http://www.bnpevents.com/ETA http://www.skillsusa.org/events/nlsc.shtml http://www.skillsusa.org/events/nlsc.shtml http://etainternational.org
