This acquisition will expand Lubrizol’s Estane® Engineered Polymers business. The two key brands representing the business are: PELLETHANE™ thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers and ISOPLAST™ engineering thermoplastic polyurethane resins. The agreement includes all commercial production, and research and development assets of the Dow TPU business. The Dow brand names will be retained and unified under the Estane Engineered Polymers business. capabilities of solvent-based, water-based and UV-curable adhesives and coatings. The new lines are located in white rooms, providing customers the capability of a clean coating environment required for many electronics, medical and food-grade applications.
