Superior quality groundwater data is obtained when using Multilevel Systems to monitor a number of depth discrete zones within a single borehole. Depth discrete soil gas and groundwater data provides investigators with a better understanding of the three-dimensional flow and distribution of contaminants in the subsurface. The result is defensible data. They allow more detailed site characterizations and more accurate risk assessments, enabling increased confidence in decision-making. Multilevel Systems make accurate monitoring of contaminant plumes much more affordable. High quality data can focus remediation strategies and target efforts more precisely. Fewer drilled holes means installation and sediment disposal costs are lower, along with reduced site disturbance. Purge volumes are smaller which reduces sampling times. Multilevel Systems decrease project costs, while increasing the amount of valuable data.
