Ultimately, ProChem’s operation group was selected to provide on-site operational support for the system and currently provides a system operator and ongoing technical training. The water reuse system allowed the plant to avoid a significant capital upgrade of its high purity water production system, reduced dependence on local water resources, and wastewater discharges were reduced by 90%.
