The software packages incorporate SCADA Host Software The ClearSCADA 2009 edition, is the company’s newest version of its premium SCADA Host software. With support for 64-bit operating systems, customers can use the latest and most powerful server hardware for their critical infrastructure, allowing larger database sizes. External programs can connect to the server with .NET API. Also new is the integration of Kepware’s KEPServerEX OPC Server, which boosts connectivity with a range of third party devices. Chemical Emergency Management System SAFER Real-Time Version 10 is the latest version of the company’s integrated and comprehensive system for detecting, analyzing and responding to toxic chemical release emergencies. New features in Version 10 enhance users’ ability to detect a toxic release using high-sensitivity Open Path optical sensors, estimate its source area location, predict and share data on the plume’s likely path, integrate Internet-based weather data, and map and share plume data using Google Maps and Google Earth. Method Forge, which provides an automated pathway to generating full scan methods. Wizards and templates ensure that the programming of daily batches is straightforward, greatly reducing the time required to queue samples and begin data acquisition. Its features include a cast-iron housing with open tank mounting configurations; input and intermediate shaft designs for reduced deflections; Portable Sludge Level Detector The handheld Sludge Gun can be used to easily find sludge levels in lagoons, ponds, clarifiers, septic tanks or any other process where there is a sludge/liquid interface. These processes are the first steps in protecting the environment. The design is portable, rugged and weather proof. Sensitivity is adjustable for thick or thin sludges. An animation of the Sludge Gun in use can be found at the company’s website. Meet the Newest Monster Introduced at WEFTEC, the Drumscreen Monster is an internally fed fine screen ideal for the removal of wastewater solids and debris using woven wire panels or perforated plates. The 0.5 6.0 mm openings remove unwanted material from the flow of wastewater, such as rags, plastics and hair. The external sprays wash, then flush the organic material back into the waste stream. This new process reduces the solids loading which can foul the membrane bioreactor. and C-Face motors with piloted motor adapters to eliminate shimming at installation. The mixer drive also features dry wells and special end covers to minimize leaks and reduce environmental risk. Markland Specialty Engineering Ltd.
