Pollution Engineering - March 2009 - (Page 12) ENVIRONEWS PE people Robert L. Rebori Thomas J. Mulligan Enrique Escalante Paul Jones Chairman Robert L. Rebori announced the promotion of Frank J. Rebori as the new president of Smith & Loveless Inc., Lenexa, Kan. Rebori, formerly vice president and general legal counsel for the company, began his new duties in December 2008. He succeeds his father as the sixth president of the company. Thomas J. Mulligan, P.E., has been named environmental services manager of Geotechnical and Environmental Consultants Inc. of Orlando, Fla. Mulligan joined the company in 2006 after leaving the Florida DEP and has served as project manager and operation manager for environmental services at GEC. The Portland Cement Association, Skokie, Ill., Board of Directors elected Enrique Escalante as chairman during the association’s fall board meeting in Dallas. Escalante will serve a two-year term as chairman of the association. He is the current president of GCC of America, Denver. Paul Jones has been promoted to the position of business manager, Sulfite and Trona for Solvay Chemicals Inc., Houston. Jones will be responsible for all commercial activities associated with the Sulfite and Trona markets, with the exception of SolvAir products.
