Pollution Engineering - March 2009 - (Page 36) PEPRODUCTS Pumps, Pipes & Valves Positive Displacement Performance T The Moyno 1 1000 positived displacement p pump was engineered fo for applicati tions like sh shear-sensitive chemical feeds, adhesives, li lime, polymer metering, slurries or viscous crude oil transfer applications. The pin-type universal joint is sealed and lubricated. Standard flange, close-coupled and open throat hopper models are available. A key feature of the pump is a two-piece drive shaft, which eliminates the need for complete pump disassembly when servicing the mechanical seal. Swing Check Valve Family The company’s Swing-Flex ® and SurgeBuster ® check valves have a nonclog design with only one moving part. The valve’s short, 35-degree stroke provides fast closing capability to minimize slamming and slam-related surges. The latter check valve features the company’s patented Disc Accelerator, which rapidly closes the valve disc without producing a slam. Diaphragm Process Pump The company claims any ess its process pump delivers the highest flow rate of any electrically operated m diaphragm pump. powerful, These umps oil-free pumps can be equipped with a double diaphragm system for increased safety, critical when handling valuable or dangerous gases. All Type N0150 process pumps can be customized to meet application requirements. Val-Matic Valve & Manufacturing Corp. Elmhurst, Ill. (630) 941-7600 www.valmatic.com KNF Neuberger Inc. Trenton, N.J. It includes up to six ga sensors from gas a choice of oxygen, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, CxHy and H 2S. It features a built-in cooler with automatic water drain, with an option to upgrade to a Peltier chiller. Mercury Analyzer for CoalFired Power Generators The Hydra-C Mercury Appendix K Analyzer is customized for the analytical demands of the coal-fired power industry. It analyzes the sorbent material contained within the trap and with its large dynamic range, providing the ability to analyze both short-term (Method 30B, RATA) and longterm (weekly monitoring) trap configurations. Its 70-position autosampler provides unattended operation for up to 70 samples in a single run. control systems. The transmitter exceeds EPA MACT standard for baghouse and dust collector leak detection. Applications include fly ash from coal, carbon black, chemicals, smelters and spray dryers.
