With easy connectivity and the ability to instantly adapt to new configuration requirements, the SR30 allows retailers and their information technology suppliers to reduce device costs and complexity while equipping users with a robust and flexible scanning workhorse. The scanner can be moved from one terminal to another or switched from POS to inventory tasks, for example, without additional set-up. The SR30 adapts automatically to different interfaces, so users simply plug in the appropriate cable—USB, RS232, PS2—to get up and running again. Users save time, need less training and support and are better equipped for changing business needs. The SR30 reduces inventory costs and the complexity of multiple application requirements, benefiting both retailers and their information systems equipment suppliers. Companies can stock cables instead of scanners and simply change out one cable interface for another when new application requirements arise.
