The AGLCA is also a BoatU.S. Cooperating Group and its members can join BoatU.S. at half off the regular dues. Most impressive is the list of members’ web sites that numbers close to 200 — a small navy of boaters out there who are sold on the Loop experience. First-hand experience from fellow boaters is invaluable when planning a cruise; AGLCA serves as a clearinghouse for sharing Loop advice. Association members volunteer their time as speakers for other boating groups, and the group hosts its own rendezvous and seminars each year.
