easy access and breathtaking views make this destination a must see!
During the summer, concerts in the Great Lakes Memorial Park band shell offer a delightful variety of music and entertainment along
with the weekly Farmers Market. In June, the Menominee Downtown Business Association hosts Family Recreation Day, offering fun
for kids and family. Marinette and Menominee's Waterfront 4th of July Family Celebration includes a children's parade and a live
patriotic music show before the fireworks display on the bay. The first weekend in August is the long standing Waterfront Festival with
family activities, music, food, breath-taking fireworks Saturday night, and a parade on Sunday and finishing with a Drum & Bugle Corp
challenge event. In the Fall enjoy the Great Pumpkin Festival, a traditional Christmas parade and Old World Christmas Market. The
Dah Yooper Plunge and Toilet Trot Races are on the last Saturday in January.
Visitors seeking more outdoor activities will find camping at River Park Campground, picnic tables, a beach, and hiking trails at Historic
Henes Park, and more great beaches at Veterans Memorial Park and Tourist Park.
