Low sulfur or ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels may help reduce exhaust emissions, but can also damage marine diesel engines. They destabilize faster, have poor lubricity, contain more moisture and are more susceptible to bacteria growth than high sulfur diesel fuel. ValvTect marine premium diesel is formulated for marine diesel engines. It contains additives that disperse moisture, stabilize the fuel for up to two years and lubricate fuel injectors and fuel pumps.
