Created by Formula’s designer John Adams, this unique cruiser measures 42 feet, 7 inches LOA, including the bow and swim platforms. With a 12-foot, 8-inch beam, the 40 PC is armed with a multitude of stowage areas and a generous cockpit for captain and crew. The 40’s craftsmanship is enhanced by the style of its forwardswept radar arch, and the responsive deep-V ride hints at the Formula performance heritage. The tastefully designed cockpit makes for a comfortable ride on longer adventures, with versatile seating for all aboard. The large Ushaped lounge aft treats passengers to a wideopen space that can accommodate the entire crew by adding the optional cockpit tables. The lounge can also be converted to form a king-size sunning area by lowering the tables and adding the lounge cushions. To port, the forward lounge is perfect for three seated passengers or one reclining. An innovative twoposition helm seat provides excellent support while sitting, and allows for leaning back against the specially designed adjustable section while standing. Precision ergonomics make it easy to monitor gauges and assess all onboard systems. The command seat will accommodate two more passengers, making it possible to seat 12 people comfortably. Fourteen cupholders and other accessories for entertaining are plentiful. A molded fiberglass wetbar is incorporated in the cockpit area opposite the U-shaped lounge, projecting a striking, beautifully integrated appearance. An optional combination refrigerator/ice maker and standard sleek Corian® countertop, molded fiberglass sink and plenty of storage below make the wetbar central to entertaining. The 40 PC is equipped with sleek, molded fiberglass storage areas, making it easy to stow everything needed for a longer cruise. The 40’s port side lounge and Ushaped lounge aft have generous fiberglass-lined storage areas. The roomy storage trunk aft, accessible at the swim platform, is designed to house the cockpit tables when they are not in use and features storage compartments for four fenders. Everywhere you look in the cockpit of the 40 PC, you will find ample, convenient storage. For those who like to relax in the sun, the forward deck features twin sunpads on either side of the center walkway. Designed to remain in place while underway, the sunpads are constructed of weatherresistant DriFast® foam. Cupholders and safety rails are integrated into the deck. The centerline integrated steps and walk-through windshield make access to the foredeck easy, and Formula’s nonskid surface provides safe footing. The Formula 40 PC has entertaining features everywhere. For example, the 40 PC is equipped with a swim platform personal watercraft lift system that is designed to move on a hydraulic ram cylinder attached to the transom. The hydraulic lift system can be easily operated by two remote controls, one in the cockpit and another near the lift itself, and can hold a personal watercraft or dinghy. The spacious cabin has up to six feet, nine inches of headroom and is entered through a onepiece, sliding curved acrylic door. Elegant, airy and comfortable, the cabin sleeps six people, two in the stateroom, two in the aft cabin/lounge area and two in the main salon. The 40 PC’s main cabin is equipped with a 32inch LCD HDTV/DVD combo and a Kenwood® AM/FM/CD stereo with four speakers.
