Miss Croix Poker Run scheduled for July The 2008 Miss Croix Poker Run will take place July 11 and 12. There have been some changes from past years. Bob and Cortney Gear will be involved in the organizing, but Darrell Holcomb and Pat Puhalla will help. They are working on getting a noise permit for Friday through Sunday. When it has been finalized attendees will receive an e-mail to let them know the details and how to download the permit. Planners are looking to add a helicopter, videographer, and photographer this year. Every boater will get a DVD sent to them and will be able to get still photos of their boat online. Insurance is also on the list of new items. The air-conditioned tent at Treasure Island will be available, along with a band or DJ. The planners are still looking for band ideas.
