The Opening Gala takes place on March , featuring performances by the theater’s resident companies, including Santa Barbara Symphony, State Street Ballet, Opera Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Choral Society, Flamenco Arts, and soloists Warren Jones and Nina Bodnar. On most Friday and Saturday evenings during this three-month period, Hearst Castle will feature the Living History Program, which emphasizes the bygone lifestyle of this great estate.
