The artists, or madonnari, begin working on Saturday morning and continue drawing throughout the three-day festival or until their street paintings are completed. 25,000 annual visitors enjoy live music on the Mission lawn and free evening concerts in the church. There’s even a special street painting area for children. 14 broughton Quarterly SPRInG 2009 http://www.SpanishGardenInn.com http://www.IMadonnariFestival.com http://www.InnAtEastBeach.com http://www.WineValleyInn.com
