29 2016 Anne Frank Conference.
The eighth annual Anne Frank Project conference,
"Engage. Lead. Improve the World," was held
on campus September 28 and 29. The two-day
social justice festival featured artist talks and
workshops; performances, panel discussions by
local, national, and international guests; photo
exhibitions; puppeteers; and a one-act play. The
multidisciplinary conference attracts thousands of
visitors to campus each September.
30 Buffalo State Honors Veterans
with Silent March.
Buffalo State held its eighth annual Veterans Day
Silent March on November 10, 2016, honoring
members of the Buffalo State community who have
served in any branch of the United States military
or allied forces. Marchers are past and present
service members, their spouses and dependents,
and first responders. Aron Turner, a computer
information systems major, received this year's
Military Service Scholarship. The annual event is
sponsored by Continuing Professional Studies,

which houses the Veteran and Military Services
Office; the Alumni Association; and the Buffalo
State chapter of the Student Veterans of America.
Campus Celebrates Homecoming and
Family Weekend 2016.
The Buffalo State community celebrated Homecoming and Family Weekend September 22-24 with
fun-filled activities that included a pep rally, parade,
tailgate party, alumni concert, and of course, Bengals
football. Buffalo State was victorious over Morrisville
State, 40-24, at Coyer Field. This year's theme was
"Many Bengals, One Roar."
