PACIFIC BOOKER MINERALS INC. Pacific Booker Minerals plans to start construction on the Morrison property in 2011 and production in 2013. PACIFIC BOOKER MINERALS INC. COMPLETES A FEASIBILITY STUDY AND ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATION FOR A WESTERN CANADA MINING OPERATION. MOVING FORWARD P COMPANY PROFILE Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. www.pacificbooker.com Headquarters: Vancouver Services: Mineral exploration and production Greg Anderson, president: “All of us at the company are pleased to have achieved these essential milestones toward commencement of construction.” acific Booker Minerals Inc. recently completed a feasibility study proposing mining and milling operations on land it owns in central British Columbia. The Morrison property is expected to produce copper, gold, molybdenum and silver concentrate. According to the study, the capital cost of launching mining operations there is roughly $517 million, with a net present value of $496 million and a four-year payback period on capital. The company proposes construction to begin in 2011, with production starting in 2013. The 230 million-ton minable reserve grading .46 copper equivalent will be an open-pit mine with an ore production rate of 30,000 tons per day with a 21-year life. The Morrison property is located in the prolific Lake Babine mining belt, home of several other successful copper mines, including Xstrata Mining’s Granisle and Bell Mines, according to President and CEO Greg Anderson. Wardrop Engineering Ltd., a Tetra Tech Company, completed the feasibility study with technical support from a team of consultants. Pacific Booker also recently completed an environmental assessment certificate application to work on the property. The application, which took the company five years to complete, is now in a six-month review process with the British Colombia Environmental Assessment Office (BCEAO), Anderson says.
