And, according to sales and marketing manager Mike Gauthier, knows how to make what its customers want as efficiently and at the quality level customers demand. A limestone extraction and stone cutting company, Ledgerock has been delivering to its customers since 1958. To ensure that it is always providing the best possible product, the company pays close attention to new innovations in the industry. “We are always monitoring what’s new,” Gauthier states. He estimates that the company purchases or develops one or two new pieces of equipment a year, making sure it can deliver the right fit for all clients’ needs. “One thing the company has always been successful in, long before I got here, is being ahead of the curve with technology,” Gauthier says. He points out that Ledgerock was one of the first companies to use CAD/CAM with computed numerically controlled (CNC) machines for stone cutting. “We were one of the first ones to buy a CNC machine, and we brought it in and started using it on stone,” he explains. “We’ve always really invested in equipment and software to help make processes run smoother.
