The program features the work of people connected with the Adult Day Connection eldercare program. This year’s inaugural event, Oct. 7, honored the work of Larry Ginsburg, a former Adult Day Connection eldercare participant. 1 2 Ginsberg became interested in art later in his life. He thought art, along with the eldercare program, helped him maintain a good quality of life as his health declined. The Adult Day Connection eldercare program is located in Lewis Hall within the School of Health Professions. The program gives senior citizens a chance to get medical care and social interaction. The 2008 exhibit included opportunities to support the Adult Day Connection with donations and premiums, such as an art print, coffee mug or note cards, based on Ginsburg’s art. 3 4 1: Joanne Clark, Rose Barsamian, Mary Ginsburg, and Karhtyn Seidel. 2: Sharon Ginsburg, Pam Weagley and Charlotte Dean. 3: Marian Minor and Judith Miller. 4: Judy and Bill Harper, Chris Cazer and Liz Goldenhersh. columbia home & lifestyle 51
