The 128-acre park is designed specifically to appeal to families with children ages 3 to 12. This historic ranch is an extraordinary educational and recreational resource. The City of Carlsbad has stabilized, preserved, and restored many of the buildings on this 27-acre parcel located at the bottom of a lushly landscaped canyon. Historic ranch structures include a visitors center, hacienda, reflecting pool, cabaña, cantina, carriage house, tack shed, stable, barn, and foundry and equipment shed. The Museum of Making Music (5790 Armada Drive, 760.438.5996) A Division of the NAMM Foundation, the museum explores the multifaceted history of the American music products industry from its beginnings in the 1890s to today.
