Following preliminary engineering to outline the extent of rehabilitation required, CDM will prepare the final design and contract documents. Areas to be investigated include ventilation, fire safety, and illumination enhancements; structural repairs; roadway design; and the addition of intelligent transportation system components. u To help the East Cherry Creek Valley Water & Sanitation District meet growing water demands, CDM will design a new membrane water treatment plant to provide up to 10 million gallons per day of drinking water to southeast Denver metropolitan area customers. The $24 million facility will use low-pressure reverse osmosis membranes and is expected to be operational by June 2009.
