In a sense, sustainability is second nature to us. CDM founder Tom Camp left his professorship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to start a firm that would improve public health, protect the environment, and support social and economic development. These goals formed CDM’s legacy and remain just as relevant today and for our future. The stories we’ve chosen for this issue represent the multiple ways that we are collaborating with our clients to implement lasting solutions that achieve the triple bottom line—helping organizations develop sustainability improvement programs, creating integrated water management strategies for arid and water-rich areas alike, designing and building facilities that support growth and conserve resources in sensitive environments, and revitalizing urban neighborhoods through green development. We also share an overview of CDM’s sustainability improvements in our own operations. At CDM, we’re integrating the sustainability mindset into everything we do, and helping our clients to do the same. http://www.cdm.com http://www.cdm.com
