and #10, shown in Figure 4 by the dashed line. All these options were successful. Unfortunately, most off-courses on this course happened between #9 and #10 with the A-frame. How the handler chose to handle the last sequence determined the next handling maneuvers from obstacle #10 to #14. If the handler chose to handle with the dog on the right most handlers "scooped" the dog out of the weave poles and pushed on the dog's line to #11. If the handler chose to handle with dog on left they either front crossed or rear crossed #11. Demonstrated in Figure 5, the discrimination between the teeter and dogwalk was handled successfully with the dog on the right and either a simple call and front cross between #13 and #14, or a reverse spin to tighten dog's line at #13. Although most people would consider this a heavy "trap," the number of off-courses here was very low. 2 4 RC FC 3 The ending sequence from the table on was extremely fast. I chose a 20ft. tunnel to allow handlers more time to navigate a front cross or blind cross between #17 and #18. From #17 on is simply a straight line, allowing handlers to really open up and run with their dogs. Overall this course ran exceedingly well, and I felt it was fair for all shapes and sizes of dogs, and provided challenges for every team. D 2 1 Two options were used in the opening.
