Building on the success of ESC Boston 2007 and ESC Silicon Valley 2008, attendees at ESC Boston 2008 can earn university credits through an innovative global partnership between the university of California, San Diego, Extension and TechInsights. uC San Diego, Extension educates about 40,000 people a year through innovative local, corporate and online programs. Extension is recognized nationally and internationally for linking the public to expert professionals and the knowledge resources of the university of California. All ESC Boston sessions have undergone an extensive review and approval process by uC San Diego - Extension prior to offering credit’s to attendees, adding worldclass academic rigor to the already stellar technical content. This new attendee benefit extends far beyond the week of the event in advancing your career! Here’s how it works: how do you earn continuing education units? • Attend ESC technical program classes or tutorials • All conference sessions are eligible. • A minimum of 6 hours of session attendance is required to earn 0.5 units of credit. You can do this in any combination.
