Before joining Floodgate, Matthew led Gamespot.com’s mobile entertainment initiatives. He arrived at Gamespot (a division of CNET Networks) through that company’s acquisition of Wireless Gaming Review. Matthew was the co-founder, editor and publisher of WGR (WGamer.com), the leading publication for mobile entertainment consumers. While leading WGR, he grew revenues to $1.5 million, distributed content through Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and Ziff-Davis. Matthew received his M.B.A. with high honors from the Olin School at Babson College. Scott is president and CEO of Vindigo (formerly known as Zingy), the leading mobile publisher of infotainment applications and games in North America. In his role as president, Scott oversees the sales and business development teams responsible for partnerships with media companies, game publishers and Vindigo’s extensive network of carriers. Scott joined Vindigo from HandsOn Mobile where he led business development efforts and established their global licensing group. Prior to his four years at Hands-On Mobile, Scott was president of NuvoStudios. He brings over 15 years of mobile, business development and legal experience and has structured deals for all channels of distribution, including online, retail, television, and telecommunications operator networks. Kristian is the CEO and co-founder of Playfish Ltd, a social games company. Prior to Playfish Kristian served as managing director of Europe of Glu Mobile, and was a co-founder of Glu Mobile Europe (Macrospace Ltd) in 2001. Kristian was responsible for the rapid growth of Glu’s European business, the integration of iFone Ltd in 2006 as well as being a contributor to the company’s successful IPO in Q1 2007. Kristian was voted one of top-50 most influential executives in Mobile Entertainment in December 2006 in ME Magazine. Previously DC was the Business Creator for Namco’s International Mobile Games Division in Tokyo. While at Namco, DC oversaw expansion into new markets such as China, developing initial strategy and negotiating and managing the partnerships. DC also negotiated to bring US games into Japan. Previously DC lead business strategy for PacketVideo Corporation working with carrier customers worldwide including DoCoMo and T-Mobile. In 1996 DC founded Gamelet in San Francisco, one of the first producers of internet based games. He wrote Colliers Rules a required text at many design colleges, and also runs JGram, a community site for students of Japanese. Kyu is president of GAMEVIL USA, Inc, US office of GAMEVIL. The company is one of the premier mobile game publishers in the world with offices in L.A. and Seoul. GAMEVIL is well known for revolutionizing the sector with its original and innovative mobile games, backed by unparalleled expertise in advanced mobile and network technology. Kyu, who has been in GAMEVIL since the beginning at 2000, has constantly played a key role in the evolution of Korean mobile gaming and has continuously introduced the innovation to the world. Kyu has graduated Seoul National University with a B.S. in Physics. John is the cofounder of Mofactor, Inc. a new mobile games publisher that is integrating best-of-breed development practices with innovative product design and distribution methods. He started his engineering career at Research in Motion in 1995, developing software for what eventually became the Blackberry. John formed his own studio, Seismic Studios, in 2001, which is now part of Mofactor. During 2003, John was part of the launch team at Digital Chocolate, where he served as director of development. He has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Mike yuen quAlCOMM Mark Ollila nOKIA Guido Henkel G3 STuDIOS Guido is a 20-year veteran of the game industry and the acclaimed producer of many award-winning computer game classics, including the reaLms of arKania series, At Nokia, Mark is helping drive the next generation gaming strategy. He is responsible for technology strategy and business development, industry relations and industry marketing, partnerships and Nokia internal collaboration and technology roadmapping within Multimedia. Additionally, Mark is leading the Nokia games publishing effort at Multimedia. Previously, Mark co-founded Telcogames in 2003 and was an executive director focusing on licensing and strategic projects. In addition to founding Telcogames, Mark has been involved in the setting up of a number of companies and research labs in media and mobile Mike is senior director, BREW Gaming Group, for Qualcomm. He is responsible for defining and driving the BREW gaming experience as well as ensuring the platform is profitable and viable for game publishers and developers. Mike previously led BREW Developer Relations and previously held positions with Accolade, GTE Entertainment, Hammerhead Entertainment, AMD and NCR, and holds an M.B.A. from UC Davis and a B.A. in computer science from UCSD.
