The Wireless USB and Bluetooth mini card design gives OEMs the ability to quickly deploy Wireless USB technology while also supporting simultaneous connectivity to Bluetooth 2.1 devices, all within a single, highly integrated wireless module. The combo card has already achieved FCC modular certification. WiQuest’s product line consists of five additional reference design kits based on Certified Wireless USB from the USB Implementers Forum. www.mwee.com/207000369 S-Band oscillator boasts low phase noise Z-Communications has introduced a lead free, RoHS compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO2545B-LF) in S band (2500 to 2590 MHz) offering an ultra low (typical) phase noise performance of -107 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. An innovative design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 30 MHz/V (typical) and covers the band between 0.5 to 4.5 V. It has excellent (typical) 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc. The oscillator is designed to deliver 5 dBm output power (typical) at 5-Vdc supply while drawing 20 mA (typical) over the extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The VCO is ideally suited for applications that require linear tuning and excellent phase noise performance. The coaxial resonator oscillator comes in the company’s industry standard MINI package measuring 1.27- x 1.27- x 0.56-cm (0.50- x 0.50- x 0.22-inches). www.mwee.com/207000351 Attenuators operate over DC to 3-GHz International Manufacturing Services (IMS) has introduced a series of thickfilm on alumina attenuators in a 0404 package size. These attenuators are particularly suited, but are not limited to, RF and microwave applications. IMS2479 attenuators are available in -1 to -10 dB attenuation values in 1 dB increments with attenuation accuracy starting at ±0.3 dB. Operating frequency is DC to 3 GHz with a rated power of 40 mW www.mwee.com/207000370 Microwave Engineering Europe ● April 2008 ● www.mwee.com 038_MWEE.indd Sec1:38 28/03/08 16:07:40 http://www.mwee.com/207000369 http://www.mwee.com/207000351 http://www.resistor.com http://www.resistor.com http://www.mwee.com/207000370 http://www.mwee.com
