Microwave Engineering Europe - November 2008 - (Page 39) PRODUCTS 39 Distributed broadband amplifier covers 30 kHz to 40 GHz amplifier with 15 dB gain, 22.5 dBm P1dB at 22 GHz, and 4.5 dB noise figure at 26 GHz. The amplifier covers 30 kHz to 40 GHz and includes surface passivation to protect and provide a rugged part with backside via holes and gold metallization to allow either a conductive epoxy or eutectic solder die attach process. The XD1008-BD offers low noise figure, medium output power, flat gain response, gain control and an integrated power detector; all features that make it a versatile solution for a variety of applications such as microwave, millimeterwave, military, wideband and instrumentation. www/mwee.com/211800410 Mimix Broadband has introduced the XD1008-BD, a GaAs MMIC distributed RF transmitter with µC for remote keyless entry Atmel Corporation has announced an AVR®-microcontroller-based RF transmitter family, designated ATA577x, for remote keyless entry (RKE) applications. The devices are system-in-package (SiP) or multi chip module (MCM) solutions incorporating the company’s well-known AVR microcontroller, ATtiny44V, and the T5750/53/54 RF transmitter. The family covers all worldwide frequencies (ATA5773: 315 MHz, ATA5774: 433 MHz, and ATA5771: 868 to 928 MHz). The tiny QFN24 packages, measuring only 5 mm x 5 mm, allow the creation of extremely small key fob designs at competitive costs. ATA577x devices are ideal for high-volume, uni-directional RF RKE car keys with a separate immobilizer transponder, and focus on the latest RF and microcontroller technologies while retaining legacy transponder protocol compatibility. Additionally, thanks to the stacked SiP technology, these applications will benefit by material cost savings of about 10 percent and a board area saving of about 20 percent, compared to conventional two-chip solutions. www.mwee.com/211300076 RESISTIVE PRODUCTS Microwave Engineering ● November 2008 ● www.mwee.com http://www.mwee.com/211800410 http://www.resistor.com http://www.mwee.com/211300076 http://www.mwee.com
