It was at this conference that Tom took the pictures of
all the state regents. They were also asked the question,
"How would you spread JOY in your term of office?"
We hope you enjoy getting to know the new state
regents and their goals for spreading CDA joy.

I hope to spread joy by being more uplifting in
my mood and posture, to listen to their "Joy,"
too, to find "Joy" messages for our meetings.
I will look for people of "Joy" to serve as
Chairman of the Circle of Love and other
I believe Joy is in your mind, heart and soul.
When you truly have joy in your soul, it radiates
through everything you do and transfers over
to others. I'm blessed to have a truly gifted and
spiritual board. We are filled with joy and know
we can accomplish so much during the next
two years. I want our members to see we are
happy and joyful to be serving them and that
being a part of such a great organization is a
joyful step in our goal to follow God's will.
I will spread joy by enhancing the
communication resources to enable the
membership more accessibility to obtain the
information necessary to conduct the business
of their courts with joy and unity.
Joy will be spread by having more fun activities
mixed in with more spiritual retreats or offer
more specialized trainings (according to the
needs of each court: Circle of Love, Membership,
e.g.) for each court as they need them.

I hope and pray that I will spread joy by always
wearing a smile.
I plan to visit local courts as much as possible
and encourage interaction between courts
to create a true sense of unity. There is joy in
making new friends in CDA. In the process, I
hope to attract new members and establish
new courts in Florida.
I will spread joy by showing gratitude! Our
courts are miles apart - North and South. I
have asked that all courts share events and
activities they are doing with other courts as a
means of getting to know each other. Also, to
encourage all to do what they can to "make a
difference" in church and community.
Joy can be spread by staying close to Jesus,
leading us to love of neighbor and the values,
worth, and dignity of each member.
