Continue to ask North Dakota Catholic women to
JOIN (JOY in) Catholic Daughters and encourage
members to do the same. Remember OTHERS
(all North Dakota members) are what made and
keep North Dakota CDA Strong! Focus on YOU
(when coming to me with your concerns, ideas,
etc.) - Listen, Hear, Respond! With the Holy Spirit
I will JOYfully serve the members of NDCDA!
Be more present as a state board to the local
courts by visiting each court and their meetings
and anniversaries, increase communication
through joyful messages through various
social media, sponsor a team workshop for
District Deputies and Circle of Love Chairman
to develop more knowledge of each spoke of
Circle of Love and educate DDs to know their
duties and responsibilities.
A positive attitude in all things CDA and help
those on our path.

Communicating by publicizing in newsletters,
websites, newspapers, radio, television and
other forms such as one-on-one with others
expressing the charitable works and activities
done by CDA members is how Joy can spread
in my term as State Regent. Following Jesus,
serving Others, and saying Yes when asked to
assist or serve is another way of spreading Joy.
As my theme is "Taste and See the Goodness
of the Lord," by using the senses we have been
given to be of service and to see where others
need encouragement or a listening ear. To take
time to "smell the roses," we can taste Joy.

With a smile, walking by the hand of Jesus and
Mary changing lives and serving others.

Hosting a National Convention, starting at least
two new Courts, stop the drip of losing members.
"Be Not Afraid!" (St. John Paul the Great) to be
Courageous Women of Faith. In so doing we
will spread joy.

The major goal of my term as a State Regent is to
bring the Unity back into Unity and Charity. Each
Catholic Daughter should experience the JOY of
belonging to this large, National organization,
the JOY of spending quality time with Catholic
Daughters from other towns, states, and
countries. It is good for us to go outside our
usual bubble and encounter other joyful women
who are also dedicated to serving God.
As I visit each of the courts, I will bring to them
the works undertaken by our other courts
- especially those works that have brought
joy. This will allow other courts to learn and
perhaps take these ideas and use them to also
find the Joy of our Lord.
Joy will be spread by our continued spirituality,
along with open and positive communication.
Being visible and attending as many functions
I plan on spreading Joy by walking with Mary
by my side.
Joy will be spread by praying with my CDA
sisters at meetings, trusting in the Lord to
guide us in our thoughts and action. Thank and
be grateful to Catholic Daughters for kindness
in charity shown to fellow human beings in
need. Staying positive!
