TEXAS COURT MEMBERS ON TV
NEVADA COURTS WORK TOGETHER TO HELP
Members of Courts Our Lady of the Rosary #2226, Our Lady of the
Valley #2118 and Elizabeth Ann Seton #2131 of Las Vegas, Nevada,
joined Nevada State Regent Regina Couvrette to prepare and serve
dinner at Ronald McDonald House. Pictured, left to right, Maria

Two members of Court Immaculate Heart of Mary #2540, McAllen,
Texas, were interviewed on the local television program, "Inside
the Valley." Past Regent Maria Luisa Guerra and Judy Houts spoke
about the Catholic Daughters and the court's Market Square Event,
of which Judy Houts is chairman. The program is seen by half a
million viewers. The segment may be seen on the KRGV website,
MINNESOTA COURT ENCOURAGES SEMINARIANS
Members of Court Madonna #839, Wilmont, Minnesota, pray for
local seminarians and keep in contact with them throughout the
year. Court members collect change and dollar bills in old pill
bottles and at Christmas give each seminarian a cash gift and a
book of stamps. In the photo are Seminarian Supporters Patricia

(Seminarian Chairman), Elizabeth Bertrand and Kristi Spartz.
NORTH DAKOTA COURT DONATES FOOD TO
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Court Father Tracy #2121, Bowman, North Dakota, sponsored a
food drive in the court's parish for the local Community Cupboard
in observance of Make a Difference Day. Regent Terry Walter can
be seen in the photo with donated food items.
ADVENT PRAYER BREAKFAST HELD BY TEXAS COURT
Eighty-eight people attended the fifth annual Advent Prayer Breakfast hosted
by Court Salve Regina #2611, Denton, Texas. Court members made and
decorated Advent wreaths for each table prior to the event and officers in full
costume performed a one-act play depicting the Annunciation of the Blessed
Virgin Mary. The discussion, prayer, fellowship, and decorations all inspired
the true spirit of Advent. In the photo are Regent Pat Zimmerer, left, with guest
speaker, Diane Schwind. The title of Mrs. Schwind's presentation was "Five
Ways to Prepare Spiritually During Advent," which was followed by a table
discussion and meditation.
