TEXAS COURT INSTALLS NEW
Court Sor Carmen #1724, Robstown,
Texas, installed the court's new officers at
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in
Robstown. Officers and members honored the
occasion with Mass followed by a breakfast
at a local restaurant where members received
their membership anniversary pins. Knights of
Columbus #3110 were also present to support
the court and new officers. Lazara Gonzalez,
one of Court Sor Carmen's first members,
received a 50-year anniversary pin. Officers,
left to right, Secretary Rose Flores, Financial
Secretary Delma Ramirez, Regent Katy Saenz,
Vice Regent Patricia Saenz, Treasurer Ofelia
Leal and District Deputy Bertie Almendarez.

TEXAS COURT CELEBRATES
MEMBER'S 100TH BIRTHDAY
Court Our Lady of The Bluebonnets #2268,
Ennis, Texas, celebrated Stella Tobola's
100th Birthday by awarding her with a
"Proclamation Member of Distinction Award"
and a CDA Pin at her birthday party. Stella
has been a Catholic Daughter for 47 years,
first with Court Our Lady of Lourdes #1784,
Dallas, and then with her current court. In
the photo, sharing the wonderful occasion
with Stella, left to right, Elsie Marek, Dorothy
Bobalek, Evelyn Zmolik, Marian Zhanel, Vice
Regent Diane Sulak, Regent Maureen Spaniel,
Treasurer Mary Ann Trojacek, Lorraine Colston
and, seated, Stella Tobola.
In the photo Wisconsin State Regent Ruth
Busch is shown presenting the St. Faustina
achievement pin to Betty Bartelson, a lifelong
member of Court St Mary, #914, Lake Geneva,
Wisconsin. Betty's mom was a charter
member of Court St. Mary, formed in 1924.
Betty was Regent of her court and Wisconsin
State Secretary. Betty began making layettes
for Birthright International in Milwaukee in
1976 and continues to make 10 layettes each
year. "I know from the over 50 years that I
have been a member," Betty said, "that CDA is
important to our church and our community."
