RUMMAGE SALE FOR CHARITIES

TEXAS COURT RALLIES FOR LIFE
Members of Court St. Angela of the Cross
#2674, Houston, Texas, joined over 7000 Texans
from all over the state at the Texas Rally for Life
in the state capitol of Austin on January 28.
Court members began their journey with Mass
at Annunciation Church in Houston, boarded
buses to Austin where they passed out prayer
cards before continuing to the south steps of the

WEST CHICAGO COURT PACKS FOOD FOR HUNGRY
Thirteen members of Court West Chicago #432, West Chicago, Illinois, joined by two
family members, volunteered at the Feed My Starving Children packing site in Aurora,
Illinois. The team filled almost thirty cartons of food to be shipped to Nicaragua. Feed
My Starving Children, a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God's
children in poor countries, is the court's newest project. The court volunteers handpacked vegetarian MannPack Rice meals, which contain a power-packed formula
of twenty vitamins and minerals added to dried vegetables, soy protein and rice. It
is specially formulated for malnourished children, providing complete nutrition for
children to grow and thrive. The food packets are sent to nearly fifty countries.
Court Our Lady of Lourdes #2278, Sun City West, Arizona, holds a
rummage sale each spring as its major fundraiser. Ably directed by
co-chairmen Joan Cosson and Lucy Horner, the sale allows gently
used or no longer needed items to find new homes and assists
the budget-minded in purchasing furniture, clothing, electronics,
tools, housewares and other useful items at a reasonable price.
Thanks to the tremendous support of the parish and the local
community the court will donate $35,000 to 30 local, state, and

Bishop of Oakland with a check for $4,000 from proceeds of the
Bishop's Burse fundraiser in support of diocesan seminarians.
The Bishop's Burse, held every other year, was hosted by Court
St. Raymond #2057, Dublin, California, with a luncheon and a
vintage fashion show featuring "Goodwill Bags." In the photo,
