Court Ludington #745, Luddington, Michigan, helped Deacon
Leonard Luscomb host a deanery-wide Women's Retreat at St.
Simon Catholic Church. Court members joyfully played the role
of "Martha" in seeing that food and refreshment were available
to the retreatants. The retreat was led by Sisters Mary Paul and
Damien Marie of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. The focus
of the retreat was "The Message of Mary at Fatima," a timely topic
given the Centennial Anniversary of Fatima. Fifty women attended.
Deacon Leonard felt drawn to organize the women's retreat
because the men have had a yearly retreat for some time and he
felt parish women deserved equal time. In the photo are Sister
Damien Marie, Deacon Leonard and Sister Mary Paul.
