NATIONAL DIRECTOR VISITS KANSAS COURT
National Director Rose Holschlag visited Court Salina #1972,
Salina, Kansas, for the court's October meeting. Rose had
ideas to help the court increase membership and offered good
suggestions. "It was great to make a connection with Rose," Past
Regent Pam Keller said, "and very nice to 'put a name with a face.'"

NEW CHAPLAIN INSTALLED FOR
HUNDREDTH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED BY
NEW YORK COURT
Joanna (Fenaughty) Larkin, a member since 1945 of Court
Bernadine #185, Brewster, New York, celebrated her 100th
birthday on August 30. Three birthday parties honored this
wonderful and special occasion. One was given by Brookdale
Fillmore Pond, her assisted living residence; another was a family
party attended by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews, at the home of Joanna's son; and a third dinner party
was attended by four friends who traveled from Michigan, Maine
and Massachusetts to Bennington, Vermont, where Joanna now
resides. Joanna was very active in Court Bernadine's projects
during her many years with the court, where she served as regent.

FOURTH GENERATION MEMBER JOINS
Avery Allen, the newest of a four-generation family to become
a member of Court Our Lady of The Bluebonnets #2268, Ennis,
Texas, joined the court at the June meeting. In the photo, left to
right, Avery; Avery's grandmother, Treasurer Mary Ann Trojacek;
and mom, Kim Allen. Avery's great-grandmother, Margaret Spaniel,
was not able to be at the meeting.
Court Our Lady of the Rosary #2226, Las Vegas, Nevada, celebrated
Mass and the Installation of Chaplain Rev. Steven Hoffer. Father
Hoffer is the court's second chaplain during its 34 years so
members also honored the memory of Monsignor Ben Franzinelli,
the court's first chaplain. Those present included, front row, left
to right, Elda Garcia, treasurer; Kathy Balchunas, vice regent;
Eileen Quinn, regent; and Kathie Light, financial secretary. Second
row, Dottie Meyers, Rose Revil, Laurie Borgna, Beth Nelis, Nancy
Oldham, Mary Vodrazka and Father Hoffer. Third row, Maria Urban,
Dorothy Calabrese, Asuncion Cedron, Theresa Haddad, Jeri Flynn,
district deputy. Fourth row, Rae VanHoven, Julie Williams and Kim
DePatie. "We are happy to have Father Steve as our Chaplain,"
the court said, "and we wish him and our court continued success
together in our future endeavors as guided by God's Will."
