The Stetson Wind Project will consist of the construction and operation of 38 state-of-the-art GE 1.5 megawatt wind turbines, considered to be the most reliable in the wind industry. The project will produce approximately 150 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and will emit no pollutants. To produce the equivalent amount of power using conventional sources of electricity, such as oil or gas, over 100,000 metric tons of pollutants would be emitted. The Stetson Mountain location is good for the project because it has no residential properties within 2,500 feet ( 762 m.), there is an excellent source of wind along the ridge, and the construction will have a minimal environmental impact as there are existing roads previously used for logging. iNdiaNa Will sooN Be home to World’s larGest, most advaNced aUtomated pharmacY develop a next-generation mail-order facility that will employ pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, engineering technology, pharmacy support and management positions to dispense more than one million prescriptions a week at peak operation. roche to expaNd its soUth caroliNa preseNce Roche Carolina Inc. has announced a $60 million expansion, which will double the Florence, S.C., facility’s manufacturing capacity. “This is the largest investment Roche as a global corporation has made in a chemical manufacturing site since the original decision to build Roche Carolina,” Roche Carolina President and General Manager Dr. Frank Cox said.
