BorgWarner turbocharges V-8 DETROIT — BorgWarner Inc. will supply two turbocharger systems to International Engine Group’s 6.4-liter V-8 PowerStroke diesel engine. Ford uses the engine in its F-series heavy-duty pickups. International Engine will use BorgWarner’s regulated two-stage turbocharger combined with variable turbine geometry. BorgWarner says the systems increase horsepower and torque and cut emissions. The systems will be made at BorgWarner’s plant in Asheville, N.C. BorgWarner, of suburban Detroit, makes engine air management systems, transmission assemblies, allwheel- and four-wheel-drive systems and transmission components. Camito will supply dies to Audi OLOFSTROEM, Sweden — Dies made by NovaCast Technologies AB subsidiary Camito AB will be used to build an Audi model that will go on sale this spring. NovaCast, of Ronneby, Sweden, develops castings for stamping dies used to make auto body parts.
