The three distinct choices of powertrains and designs may hint at directions Chrysler planners want their brands to go. Chrysler ecoVoyager The Chrysler ecoVoyager concept is a shape Chrysler is calling “one box.” The shape as portrayed in sketches that Chrysler has released could revive the use of the term “jelly bean” in industry design circles. The powertrain consists of an advanced lithium ion battery pack connected to a hydrogen fuel cell. Chrysler says the ecoVoyager can travel 300 miles without refueling, while emitting nothing but water vapor. With an overall length of 191.2 inches, the ecoVoyager is 10 inches shorter than the current Town & Country. At 63 inches high, it is also 8 inches lower. Dodge wants its Zeo four-passenger 2+2 sport wagon to appeal to driving enthusiasts. Dodge Zeo Chrysler describes the Dodge Zeo as a “four-passenger, 2+2 sport wagon that embraces the bold expressive look of the Dodge brand, exhibiting a new, youthful breed of muscle car for the 21st century.” With an overall length of 172.8 inches, the Zeo is just an inch shorter than the Caliber, but at just 50.8 inches overall height, it is nearly 10 inches lower than the Caliber. The Zeo gets its power exclusively from a lithium ion battery pack, and Dodge claims it has a 250-mile range. Dodge wants the Zeo to appeal to driving enthusiasts.
