Automotive News - January 7, 2008 - (Page Insert1) IF EXPERIENCE AND RESULTS COUNT Here are some facts to consider for us to make a presentation for your GM DEALER GROUP ADVERTISING ACCOUNT 1. We have over 20 years of experience with over 30 GM Dealer Groups from Washington State to West Virginia. 2. We have experience in both large and small markets for Chevy, Buick, Pontiac and GMC Groups. 3. Our results have been incredible. Following is a brief synopsis and some history on the agency: When our founder, Herb Montalbano, landed his first Chevy Dealer Group account in 1985 he and his partner, both 27 at the time, were just a two-man shop operating out of a 2-bedroom apartment. Well, the first year with these dealers in New Orleans, Chevy’s car penetration went from about 11% to16% and truck penetration was up from about 24% to nearly 30%. The partners looked really good in the industry and this opened up the doors in many other markets. After some time, to expedite growth as there was a demand for their services in markets they were already in, the partners split. Ok they both wanted to do their own thing too. Sure enough, 30 days later they were both billing individually what they were billing collectively. Today, The Montalbano Group represents over 50 dealers from Boulder to Philadelphia and a whole bunch of points in between. Fortunately, prior to GM mandating the local groups go with the National Agency, we saw it coming about 2 years earlier, and made the transition to individual dealers. We count our blessings every day for this as we saw a lot of really worthy competitors fold. 4. Some other results include the Denver GMC dealers having the highest percentage increase in the country their first year with us as their marketing partner, the Buick Dealers throughout East Texas penetration reaching 11% which was amongst the highest in the nation, to the Chevy Dealers in Southwest Louisiana nearly doubling Ford’s sales. 5. We are also located in Dallas, making travel to most any market very easy and accommodating for you. At the same time we have a wealth of talent here for most any advertising endeavor, especially on the talent side of commercials. 6. Last but not least, we have a burning desire to get back in the dealer group arena. We really know how and what to do, and have missed it dearly. We assure you if you just give us the opportunity to present our merits you will feel we were worthy of your time. “Over 20 years of experience working for you.” The Montalbano Group Automotive Advertising Specialists Dallas - New Orleans Contact Information: Herb Montalbano 4040 McEwen Road, Suite 300 Dallas, Texas 75244 1-800-992-2723 Email: herb@themontalbanogroup.com
