Fisher began his career in 1947 at Burt Chevrolet in Englewood, Colo. He became a Chevrolet dealer in Boulder in 1973, adding Honda in 1991. The dealership is Fisher Chevrolet-Honda, now operated by his children, Craig Fisher and Lynn Rickman. Anaheim, Calif., Aug. 6. He was 81. Mills began his career in 1948 working for his father, Arlee Mills, at McCay & Mills Ford in Fullerton, Calif. After becoming president of that dealership, he operated Mills Ford in Anaheim and held interests in other Ford and Dodge dealerships. He retired in 1992. He added a Subaru franchise in 1983. Stocker was a past president of the Pennsylvania Automotive Association. Stocker’s son, Gene Stocker Jr., owns and operates the dealership. In 1952 he became a partner in the ThompsonKnowlson dealership, later named Thompson-Todd and then Thompson Chrysler-Plymouth. In 1972, the Detroit dealership moved to Southgate, Mich. Thompson was a past president of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and one of the original members of the Pacemakers, a group of volume dealers that formed in the 1960s.
