This year more than 180 people took part in the Doug DeCinces Orangewood Classic. The reception, auctions, dinner and golf tournament netted $135,000 for the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a suburban Los Angeles helper of youngsters in foster care. David Wilson, left, owner of the 16-dealership Wilson Automotive Group that includes Tustin Lexus in Tustin, Calif., and DeCinces are members of the Orangewood board of directors. ■ As stylish as they wanna be Rap group 2 Live Crew has drawn attention with its music, and the band’s next album may turn heads with its supercar cover art. A Spyker C8 Laviolette SWB Coupe will be on the cover of “Just Wanna Be Heard,” scheduled for release early in 2009. The luxury sports car was made available for the cover photo shoot by Craig Zinn Automotive Group in south Florida.
