WELCOMING VISITORS FOR OVER 100 YEARS In the early 1900’s, local Indian trader Charles E. Strausenback built the Trading Post to resemble the homes of the Pueblo Indians. Through the mid-1950’s, Native American silversmiths and artisans worked and lived at the Trading Post fashioning jewelry, weaving blankets, and creating baskets and pottery.
