Leading Voices This year’s speakers will address issues of immediate importance in the aviation community, including but not limited to Fatigue, NextGen, and the National Airspace System. Keynote speakers include highly regarded leaders throughout aviation, among them FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, followed by David Grizzle, Chief Operating Officer of the Air Traffic Organization-FAA, and Captain Eric Moody (Ret.), British Airways, who successfully navigated a 747 through volcanic ash in 1982, despite all four engines failing. Other keynotes are featured inside this and future issues of ATCA Today. Captivating Session Panels More innovative sessions include the Interactive Leadership Panel, with encouraged audience participation and a focus on open dialogue between panelists and attendees. The 2 p.m. session on Wednesday SUNDAY will welcome all members of the Future Aviation Advisory committee, which provides information, advice, and recommendations to the Secretary of Transportation on ensuring the competitiveness of the U.S. aviation industry (planned discussion topics are on page 6).
