Development of the Year, Clubhouse Competition and Renovation of the Year contests will be honored at the event. “We are pleased to be able to recognize some of the world’s most spectacular new golf developments and quality renovations,” said Chase Peckham, associate publisher of Golf Inc. “The owners, developers, architects and contractors involved in these projects have demonstrated outstanding innovation and creativity.” The Development Awards Celebration will be open to all registered conference attendees for the $20 museum entrance charge. The three-day show at the World Golf Village features 30 panels made up of more than 95 of the golf industry’s most influential decision-makers. Speakers who have committed to participating include Eric Affeldt, CEO of ClubCorp; Mark Woodward, CEO of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America; Jim Hinckley, CEO of Century Golf Partners/Arnold Palmer Golf Management; Jerry Pate, president of Jerry Pate Golf Design; Rudy Anderson, vice president of CNL Lifestyle Co.; Joe Beditz, CEO of the National Golf Foundation; and John Easterbrook, executive vice president of operations at Troon Golf.
