The scope of the renovation was akin to a rebuild. It included a new irrigation system, substantial tree trimming and removal, turf replacement and improvement, additional yardage added to a number of holes, renovation or replacement of tees, replacement and reconstruction of greens, rerouting of four entire holes and refurbishment or replacement of a number of course ele- ments such as cart paths, bridges, walls and halfway houses. The results were dramatic in terms of both appearance, maintainability and, perhaps most importantly, to membership value. The equity membership value of $215,000 at the time the renovation began skyrocketed to $537,000 at its conclusion and the club now has a waiting list for new members.
