A It is great to see how the golf industry has so strongly rallied behind Get Golf Ready. The most significant challenge with any new program is to make sure it is properly executed at the grassroots level. Having just left a busy operation, I know how challenging that can be for an operator. Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, host of the PGA Tour’s Transitions Championship, has named former Disney World professional Rodney Green as its new director of golf. The Scottish Golf Union has elected Douglas Connon MBE as its new chairman and Ian Ross as the organization’s new president for 2009. Car l Swanback has left The Links at Brigantine Beach and Meadowbrook Golf Group to return to Connecticut, where he will work with The Links Consulting Group and Liberty National Golf Course.
