Since its opening nearly four years ago as the first new all-season resort in the U.S. in more than 20 years, Tamarack’s management has focused on watersheds and water quality, water usage, wildlife habitats, erosion control, energy usage, recycling and transportation. Located 90 miles north of Boise, the resort stretches across mountain, meadow and lake environments that officials have made constant efforts to preserve and enhance even prior to start of development in 2002.
