These are the 20 individuals who have earned recognition as Golf Inc.’s 2008 Most Admired Operators. This is the fourth year that their peers and Golf Inc. editors have honored the men and women who have demonstrated the ability to grow rounds, increase revenue and boost memberships in the face of a flat economic outlook. For the first time, we expanded the selections outside the United States, reflecting the truly global nature of today’s golf industry. As in past years, our editors started the selection process by polling a group of more than 100 industry insiders and by seeking nominations from across the golf world. 24 Golf Inc. April 2008 That list of nominees was submitted to a group of industry executives who included developers, management company officials, consultants and brokers. All are experienced individuals who understand what it takes to make a golf operation successful.
