And it’s gone from the 19th largest golf management company in the U.S. to fifth largest today with 4,000 employees. Hill has sought to move BCG beyond the typical industry approach to operations and marketing, with his goal of providing outstanding course conditions, delivering great customer experiences and valuing customers’ time. In the past year, BCG has added courses owned by the cities of Philadelphia and Tulsa, Okla., to its portfolio. He also has joined with one of his partners to create the Hill-Morris Foundation, a charity designed to provide grants to address critical local and individual needs of the people affiliated with BCG in the areas of health, human services, education and community improvement. And Hill’s reach has expanded across the globe as BCG’s Buffalo Communications division has taken over PR efforts at Mission Hills Golf Club, the world’s largest golf complex, in Shenzen, China.
