He has seen improved driver sales with the introduction of the FTi and other high-tech product llines. He’s also revitalized the slumping Top-Flite line acquired by Callaway two years ago. Fellows also has made Callaway’s ball division profitable for the first time and resolved many of the company’s nagging supply chain and distribution problems. For his successful efforts, he was rewarded in September with a contract extension until 2011. Fel NGF continues to serve as the U.S. golf industry’s primary data collector for information about course development and construction and other business trends. Beditz was a prime mover behind the agreement earlier this year to consolidate the efforts of the various industry data collectors into a single monthly rounds report. He also has expanded the NGF’s role as a consultant, working with courses around the country to improve customer service and other operations. The Joe Louis Barrow 32 Chief Executive Officer The First Tee 2007 Rank: 34 t er 10 years of success in the United States, The First Tee now has the entire globe in its sights. Chapters of the youth-focused organization already have been established in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Singapore, and Barrow is looking to expand even further internationally. Its National School Program has introduced more than 1 million elementary school students in over 2,000 schools across the country to the game. And the organization also has become a major source of scholarship funds, awarding nearly $325,000 in grants last year.
